Healthy Relationship Advice – 5 Simple Steps

When it comes to relationship advice, you have to be careful which you follow and which you ignore. Most everyone will have an opinion about the best way to go about getting back together with your ex, but not all those opinions are things you should do.  In many cases, the advice you get can actually cause more harm than good and will encourage you to be manipulative and childish.  Here is some relationship advice that can help you get your ex girlfriend back in 5 simple steps – healthy relationship advice. In other words; good relationship advice.

Here are five easy steps that can help you reconcile with your girlfriend in no time at all:

1. Take a look at your past mistakes, the ones that directly impacted your relationship as well as those that didn’t (or at least you don’t think they did).  Pick a few of your personality traits that you feel you should work on and improve.  Make a total commitment to investing time and effort into changing those things about yourself that you’re not happy with.  Not only can this, eventually, help you get your girl back, it can also make you a better person in general.

2.  Go out and be social.  Don’t spend all your time isolated in your home. On the other side of the coin, don’t go out with other women. This is a mistake many men make, they want to make their ex jealous.  The good news is that it usually works, your ex will probably be jealous.  The bad news is that it won’t help you one little bit if your goal is to get your ex back.  She may be jealous but that doesn’t mean she’ll want you back.  Go out, but don’t hook up.

3. Take a trip and/ or do something unique and different.  Explore not only the world, but yourself as well.  Challenge yourself and try new things.  Whether that means finding a better job or taking a class this is a great time to improve the person you are.  That way when you do contact your ex she’ll be impressed by the changes you’ve made and the interesting man you’ve become.

4. Take care of your physical appearance.  This may mean joining a gym.  Breakups are hard on you both emotionally and physically, it’s important that you help keep your body strong and alleviate some stress. Working out on a regular basis can help you accomplish both of those things.  It will also help make you look really hot for that time when you contact your ex.

5. Last but not least, you’ve let some time go by without talking to your ex, but more than likely she’s been hearing from mutual friends about all the changes you’ve been making and all the cool new things you’ve been doing.  Now is the time to contact her.  It’s very, very important that you keep things extremely casual.  Remember, she’s probably used to the two of you fighting and she may be hesitant to see you for fear that you’ll just end up in a fight again.  If you keep things very causal and friendly she will have time to learn to trust you and she will have a chance to see the new and improved you.  In most cases that is all it takes for her to want to get back together with you.

If you are willing to follow these easy steps, be patient, and avoid all the stupid and unhealthy relationship games that so many people seem to like to play, you have a great chance to get your ex girlfriend back in 5 simple steps – healthy relationship advice.  This is the only way that really makes sense.  A relationship just can’t last if it’s based on childish, manipulative behavior.

Healing From A Broken Relationship

Healing from a broken relationship is a tough thing to do, but the good news is, it can be done. You just need to understand the process and allow yourself the time that you need.

One of the first things to remember is there is no time limit.  It will take you as much time as it takes you, period. There is no set rule on how long it should take you, though you still should be making some forward progress after a few months.  You may be a long way from being back to normal, but you should be starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

One word of caution, though: if you don’t seem to be making any progress at all, you may want to hire a therapist to help you through the worst of it.  Sometimes having an objective third party who can offer unbiased advice is a good way to help us jumpstart our recovery.  It may even help speed the process along a little, and who wouldn’t want that?

Another thing you can do to help speed things along is find yourself.  This may sound like strange advice but in most relationships you will lose a little of yourself.  This seems to be particularly common with women.  It’s easy to become a ‘we’ and lose a little ‘me’.  And a little of that isn’t a bad thing, but once the relationship has ended it’s time to get your ‘me’ back.

This process will help you heal and grow.  It will remind you that there was a time when you were happy without your ex.  This ‘reawakening’ can be a very exciting time and it can help dull at least some of the pain you’re feeling since the breakup.  If nothing else, it will give you something to occupy your mind with.

Spending time with family and friends will help you enormously too.  Surrounding yourself with people who love you will help you stay strong.  When in the midst of a bad breakup it’s easy to forget that you will be happy again.  It can be hard to see past that black hole, but if you’re with your family and friends they will help you feel the love that you are missing from your ex.

While this isn’t the time to wallow, it might not be a bad idea to remind yourself of the things in the relationship that made you unhappy, or mad, or both.  You don’t want to dwell on the relationship too much at this point but reminding yourself of the bad times might help you gain a little clarity and move the healing process along a little bit.

No matter how you choose to go about it, just remember that healing from a broken relationship is possible.  You will get through it and you will find love and happiness again.  If you learn from your past relationship you can take that knowledge with you into your next relationship which will help make that relationship even better.  Just hang in there.

Win your love back. It slipped away before you had a chance to realize what was happening. It seems like everything happened so quickly, like a tornado that came out of nowhere and destroyed everything that the two of you had worked so hard at building. The results were devastating. Now you are left walking through the rubble trying to find out if there is anything worth saving. To win your love back is going to be a huge challenge.

To try and win your love back, first look to see if there is anything able to be salvaged.  Look through all that remains, take a hard look at everything and see the damage that was done. It could be that the damage due to the break up was too much and there really isn’t anything left to save. Hopefully, this is not the case but, unfortunately, it is true many times.

Also take a critical look at everything and see if trying to win your love back is even something that you want to even try and do. Winning your love back is going to be hard work and you just went through an exhausting time in your life.

Does it make sense to try and put these pieces of the failed romance and/or marriage back together? Will you just be banging your head against the wall? Do they even want to try and work with you or even want to win your love back? Ask yourself these hard questions. It could save you a lot of added and unnecessary grief.

Now, once you have decided that it is worth it to try and win your love back, clean up. Get rid of all the things that cluttered up your life and made it difficult. This is a great chance to go in and take only what was good about your love and leave behind the bad stuff. If there was something that complicated things between the two of you, leave it behind. You really need to focus your energy on building on the more solid foundations of your love.

What was it that made your love special? What were the best things about your love? What was it that made it special and really makes you want to win your love back? Focus on these things and use them as the cornerstone and foundation of winning your love back.

One mistake that many make when they want to rebuild a relationship is that they try and rebuild it exactly the way it was before it started falling apart. The truth is, if it wasn’t strong enough to withstand the storms that came the first time, it won’t be strong the next time. Try to build it better than it was before. Don’t live in the past, build on the good things and leave behind the things that made what you have weak enough to be destroyed. Win your love back and make it stronger than ever before.
